Fintech and mobile bank, Revolut, is working with Decision Tech, the Moneysupermarket Group company that offers price comparison technology, to launch Essentials. The new service will allow Revolut’s UK customers to switch and save on their bills for gas, electricity, broadband, mobile, and TV.
Revolut is one of only a handful of UK fintechs offering a price comparison service directly to customers. Decision Tech’s white-labelled B2B capability means Revolut will be able to offer its UK customers state-of-the-art, personalised comparison and switching services, giving access to a range of suppliers and exclusive deals via the Revolut app.
For example, over 11 million households are on expensive ‘Standard Variable’ energy tariffs for their electricity and gas. These cost up to £300 more than the cheapest deals. This partnership between Revolut and Decision Tech means customers can now get great deals on their energy bills, easily and quickly, with just a few clicks.
This is a big milestone in Decision Tech’s success in building out Moneysupermarket’s B2B capability. Thanks to the tie-up between Revolut’s open banking data and Decision Tech’s switching platform, customers can switch their energy, broadband or TV and mobile phone providers without having to leave the app.
