mGage and Oxfam launch world-first RCS mobile payment campaign

Ben Philips mGage, in partnership with Oxfam GB, has deployed its Rich Communication Services (RCS) mobile payment solution, to encourage more donations and higher levels of engagement.

According to mGage, at a time when charities are struggling amidst the pandemic, this world-first campaign has provided more positive results when compared to a standard Premium SMS send, and is even more popular than traditional card payments. RCS also proved to be successful at deepening the humanitarian charity’s engagement and relationship with its supporters.
